Finally! Brewster is confirmed on Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

Image
Brewster, our favorite pigeon coffee barista, is coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the upcoming fall update on November. On the teaser trailer dropped by Nintendo Direct, The Roost 24-7 will open on the museum upon the steps to the left before the art gallery. It's funny that they made an announcement that they'll make an announcement on a later date. More information will be revealed on October 1 as we've finally crossed the autumn season. Brewster made his first appearance in Animal Crossing: Wild World on the Nintendo 3DS. His coffee shop was a regular hang out spot for villagers and shopkeepers. Brewster has been missed dearly since players want to set up a coffee shop on their island. In fact, he has been rumored if not requested since the first summer update to ACNH. Does this mean that Nintendo is listening to the fans or have they sensed that ACNH is on the decline? If they did listen to what the fans want, one would wonder who else will make their deserve

COVID in times of Animal Crossing

October is the month of birthdays in my family. My heart sank and my brain blanked when I tested positive for COVID-19 on October of last year. I drove to the nearest mobile test center one early morning with my Nintendo Switch and Animal Crossing: New Horizons within an arm's reach on the car seat. It was raining and the scene outside was a dreadful gray; the radio was nothing but a droning noise as the chatter left no impression; I watch other folks wait for the bus going about their day, while I sat in the car a little envious of their normal day. I distracted myself with ACNH while the car dove forward a few feet at a time in the queue of vehicles until it was my turn to get the nasal-pharyngeal swab. Those two hours in the car were filled with uncertainty about what was going to happen. As usual my animal friends convinced and cheered for me that things will be okay. It was 2008 when I bought my Nintendo Gamecube while I was working for an inventory company. We started living

Kind Words - write kind letters to real people asking for advise on real problems

Image
Kind Words is a casual "game" that lets you offer your kind words to strangers by writing them a letter from your room. Kind Words also helps you de-stress and defuse your nerves by writing how you're currently feeling with a chill lo-fi music playing. Get a dose of reality that there are many people who are undergoing problems as well. The letters are from real people, but the pen names are anonymous. Kind Words would let you view requests, make requests, and say nice things. Requests are made such as asking for advise or letting your hair down about the day. You can respond to these requests by offering kind words, advise, or relate to the other person. Saying nice things is a way to be spontaneous on encouraging other people which will then become a paper airplane flying on someone else's room. When you've responded  to a request, they can give you a sticker as thanks to decorate your room. Without mentioning, it is strictly forbidden to be a jerk in Kind Words
