First, I wanted to post this image since I'm exploring presets for my ACNH screenshots. Second, I didn't know this screenshot would resonate a lot to me. I know it's weird to feel attached to a villager (or an NPC); but the same can be said to any character in a movie or a novel. I DON'T NEED TO PAIR MY SWITCH, LOAD AND UNLOAD MY GAME! The version 20.0 update frustrated me. I admit that I celebrated it when it was installed. Not knowing that the virtual game cards mechanic would become super cumbersome for us who own multiple Switch consoles. (Say at least 3).  Before the update, I simply made sure my game isn't running on my second console before booting it up on my first console. With virtual game cards, you need to pair the second switch, unload and load the game. That is you need to get up, make sure the Switch A and B are close and then hope that the pairing works well. Rinse and repeat if you want to play your digital game with a Switch C. So here's an easy fix to revert to loading your digital game instead of virtual game cards.  1. Paralives announced that it will release early access on December 8, 2025. Paralives is an upcoming life sim game with a familiar feel yet its own charming art and color palette. It vibes with simplicity and a fresh look as a life sim game on the PC. Yet the game also features an intricate build and buy mode. In Paralives, you take care of your Parafolk settling down in a small town. There will only be one neighborhood town at launch. Although the developers remarked that more towns and neighborhood will follow. Some notable features in the game include:  grid-less building or item propping. resizable, stackable furniture. boat-houses in base game. familiar gameplay with jobs and school. pets like dogs and cats are confirmed in the base game. The 4 Things I've learned in 2024

1. An hour is plenty of time. It's my fault for not treating time as a precious commodity . I viewed time as something expendable. Or I'm always telling myself that I'll have time for things tomorrow. But time moves forward. We can't bring time back once it's spent.  It's not about pressuring myself to do something early on; or adoring deadlines; but it's about trusting that one hour is plenty of time. What's ironic is that my work involves time management aka university exams. So there was one time that I could not sleep at all. Not at all . I was still awake at 4 AM. I had no choice but to start the day early. A Monday to boot. I played New World for one hour: hence fought off a lot of enemies, completed nine quests, and earned about 3k gold coins. Then went back to bed at 5 AM to try to get some shut eye for an hour before getting up again at 6 AM. Maybe it's the one in one hour . One surely sounds small. But one hour is still 60 minutes.
