Queue on Best Buy website this Black Friday

  I saw this thing, an online queue:


I vaguely remember "standing online on a queue" during a past Black Friday sale from another store. EMPHASIS ON VAGUELY. 

While I understand the sentiment (to save bandwidth, lots of visitors?, etc.), isn't it the point to have an online store so you can purchase something immediately? Hopefully without a queue. It's just weird, but it's a thing. Fortunately, I only had to wait about 6 minutes TO BROWSE, since my lunch was done and I was going back to work.

Paralives announced that it will release early access on December 8, 2025. Paralives is an upcoming life sim game with a familiar feel yet its own charming art and color palette. It vibes with simplicity and a fresh look as a life sim game on the PC. Yet the game also features an intricate build and buy mode. In Paralives, you take care of your Parafolk settling down in a small town. There will only be one neighborhood town at launch. The 4 Things I've learned in 2024

1. An hour is plenty of time. It's my fault for not treating time as a precious commodity . I viewed time as something expendable. Or I'm always telling myself that I'll have time for things tomorrow. But time moves forward. We can't bring time back once it's spent.  It's not about pressuring myself to do something early on; or adoring deadlines; but it's about trusting that one hour is plenty of time. What's ironic is that my work involves time management aka university exams. So there was one time that I could not sleep at all. Not at all . I was still awake at 4 AM. I had no choice but to start the day early. A Monday to boot. I played New World for one hour: hence fought off a lot of enemies, completed nine quests, and earned about 3k gold coins.
