Still waiting: I want to live and set up my shop in Nivalis

I have been playing some first person life sims lately such as Trading Card Game Simulator, Sengoku Dynasty, and Cowboy Life Simulator. I may have found my other niche genre: first person business sims. Ironic how I seek to satisfy my craving to escape RL work just to get bogged down by virtual work. But Nivalis looks really interesting.
Nivalis is a cyberpunk themed life-sim where you can run businesses in the city of its namesake, Nivalis. You will meet and befriend characters, create loyal customers, and even find love. Then you'll also be able to customize your own home.
Nivalis is a unique spin in the cozy genre to live and run a business in a cyberpunk themed city. It's appealing to own a house and multiple businesses in a cyberpunk city. At the same time, it doesn't feel limiting as players want to experiment on not only one business but multiple ones in a cyberpunk setting.
I'm curious if it will revolve around a story like its driving game precursor, Cloudpunk. However the story only serves as an anchor to these type of games. The highlight is mashing cyberpunk aesthetic with a cozy gameplay. And frankly, there is not much competition for a first-person business simulator together with a homesteading game.

I mentioned Nivalis back in 2022. Four years already. Nivalis has been delayed for improvement and polishing. But some players are starting to doubt if it will be released. The latest update on its timeline is a planned release in the early 2026 according to the Digital Bros. financial report. 505 Games is a subsidiary of Digital Bros. Unsurprisingly, the high number of wishlists to Nivalis was perhaps the main reason to push its release to this year. The demand is present. So the developers rightfully decided to shelf the release date from 2024 until now to polish the game.
But there has to be a limit on delaying the game, to avoid that feeling of seeing a carrot on the stick. I mean Mount and Blade: Bannerlord was announced in 2012, entered early access in 2020, and finally released in 2022. Bannerlord is one of the peak medieval fantasy RPG games out there.
For now, I will wait.
